Meanwhile, a Navy pilot approaches Jesse in a bar. He sees that her face is beat up and asks what happened to her. Jesse tells him that she asks too many questions. Jesse tells the pilot that she is part of a sub crew. The pilot says that it is ironic because as a pilot, he hunts subs. Jesse punches the officer and tells him that she hates Navy pilots. The friends of the pilot stand up and surround Jesse.

At the house, Kacy tells Sarah that she can't believe she is moving. Kacy says that her husband responded to a call and discovered a girl in the river. She says that she was shot execution style. She says that the police don't know the victim's identity, but she was blonde, attempted suicide recently and had a tattoo on her arm. Sarah realizes that the victim was Riley. Sarah goes to the garage and tells John the bad news. Later, John asks Cameron if she killed Riley. Cameron says that she didn't. John says that he wants to believe her, but sometimes she lies to him. Cameron tells John that she is sorry for his loss, but he says that he doesn't believe her.

Derek picks up Jesse at the police station. Derek asks her what happened. She says that she got in a fight with several pilots. Jesse remembers being on a submarine in 2027. In the sub, the crew crosses into Australian territory. Jesse proclaims a fellow crew member a citizen of Australia. Later, the alarm sounds as the sub is attacked by depth charges.
