Cameron watches a pigeon fly around in the house. She tells the bird that she should not nest in the chimney. She catches the bird midair and tries to let it go outside. She tells it that she is not supposed to kill it, then crushes it dead. Later, Sarah cleans off the blood left by Riley when she tried to kill herself. Riley arrives and meets with John who tells her what she did is in the past.

Meanwhile, Derek goes target practice with Jesse. Derek tells Jesse that there is a guy who has information about Skynet that he needs. Jesse tells Derek that she was sent back to make sure John is safe.

Sarah looks over some files and tells Cameron that there are some papers missing. Cameron tells her that Derek took them. Sarah asks Cameron what happened to Riley when she tried to kill herself. Cameron says that Riley had a bruise on her face and said that she got it from her foster father. Sarah tells Cameron that she will talk to Riley's foster parents. Riley slices open her forearm with a razor blade and tests her robotic arm functions to see if they are malfunctioning. Riley arrives to pick up her bike and sees Cameron working on her arm. Riley tries to walk away, but Cameron sees her.

John meets with Cameron and she tells him that she killed the bird that was in the chimney. Cameron tells John that she thinks her arm acted involuntary. John tells Cameron to move her fingers and tells her that he thinks her arm is damaged. Cameron shows John that she has been collecting spare parts from other Terminators. John tells Cameron that she was supposed to burn the spare parts, but Cameron tells him that his future self told her to keep some. Cameron tells John that his future self has better information that he does.

Riley meets with Jeese and tells her that she saw Cameron's metal skeleton. Riley says that Cameron knows that she knows that Cameron is a Termintor. Riley tells Jesse that she can't go back to John's house. Riley tells her that she has to go and that she will not let Cameron hurt her.

Sarah meets with Aaron, Riley's foster father and tells him that Riley had a bruise on her face when she tried to kill herself. Sarah asks Aaron if he hurt Riley. He says that Riley got into a fight with his wife. He says that she was screaming about a burning world and bleached skulls. Aaron says that there was a guidance councilor that met with Riley recently. Aaron gives Sarah the guidance councilor's card.

John fixes Cameron's arm. Cameron tells John that he is ahead of schedule of what he needs to learn. Later, Sarah meets with Jesse who is posing as Riley's councilor. Sarah asks Jesse about Riley and she tells her that Riley grew up in a broken home. Jesse tells Sarah that she knows that John took Riley to Mexico without her parent's permission. Jesse tells Sarah that she will take care of Riley and that she should take care of her own kids.

Cameron finds John on the computer looking up information for Derek. John tells Cameron that Derek is planning to meet with a lawyer that works for Koleba. Later, Derek watches the lawyer at a bar. A woman approaches and sees that Derek is watching a man. The lawyer leaves and Derek follows.

John gets a call from Riley who tells him that she is coming over later. Sarah comes home and tells John that she met with Riley's guidance councilor. Sarah tells John that Riley has been talking about him and their trip to Mexico. Sarah says that Riley was talking about Judgement Day. John tells Sarah that he didn't tell her about it, but Sarah says that she doesn't believe him. Sarah tells John to prepare himself when Cameron finds out what Riley knows.
