Sarah goes to the Desert Canyon Conference of UFO's. A presenter shows Sarah a slide show of photos of unknown aerial drones. He says that witnesses have seen the symbol of three dots on these drones. He says that a blogger named Abraham has come across the material that the drones are made out of which is a rare light weight metal with superior strength. After talking to the man, Sarah is approached by a woman who asks her if she is interested in seeing Abraham. After following the woman in her truck, Sarah calls John and tells him that she has a lead on a person who might have worked on the Terminator endoskeleton metal.

Riley goes to John's house and finds him painting his bedroom. John sees that something is troubling Riley. She says that she blew up at her foster parents because of their whining over nonsense. Cameron comes in and John tells her to pick up some more paint. Cameron says that she thinks that he has enough paint.

Sarah goes to the woman's trailer. Sarah sees photos of the aerial drones on her walls. The woman says that Abraham was a MIT student whose specialty was in LIDAR. Sarah says that she knows that LIDAR is used by robots to sense their environment.

Riley remembers the future and being approached by Jesse while she was staying in one of the resistance bunkers. Jesse recognized that Riley was attractive underneath all of her grime and recruited her to jump back in time with her. After making the jump, they settled in a hotel room. Riley was amazed how clean the world is in the present compared to how dirty it was in the future.

Riley helps John paint his room. John notices that Riley has a bruise on her head. John asks if her foster dad hurt her. Riley tells John to leave her alone.

Ellison meets with Weaver in the basement of Zeiracorp. Weaver asks Ellison to foster the development of John Henry, who has been uploaded into Cromartie's body, into becoming more human. Ellison is hesitant to work with John Henry because Cromartie killed several FBI agents. Weaver says that Cromartie's programming has been erased. Ellison is afraid that John Henry will become too powerful. Weaver insists that they have total control of John Henry.

The woman and Sarah meet at a diner. The woman leaves to use the bathroom and Sarah follows. Sarah sees the woman washing the makeup off of her face and realizes that she is actually a man. He admits that he is Abraham. Later the man says that his real name is Alan Park. He tells Sarah that he was given a job by a company to work on LIDAR. He says that after he started blogging about his work, he found that his life was in danger. He discovered one day that his brakes of his car were cut. Abraham says that he left his life and started living in the trailer. Abraham says that he has a piece of the metal that he was working on stored at another location. Sarah tells him that she will drive him to pick it up.

Riley goes the bathroom and recalls a conversation with Jesse. Riley asked Jesse why she chose to jump back in time with her. They watched as John Connor went to school. Jesse sent Riley to befriend John. Back in the present, Riley puts makeup on her bruise then goes into the hallway. Cameron asks Riley what happened to her face. Riley says that she hit a door. Cameron sees a star tattoo on Riley's wrist, grabs her arm and asks about it. John comes out and Cameron asks him to talk.

One of Ellison's church friends asks him why he has been missing from choir practice. Ellison says that he has been busy. Ellison tells his friend that his ex-wife didn't want any kids even though he did. Ellison says that the the difference in wanting kids is what drove him and his wife apart.
