Betty goes to work and researches Matt's dad. She tells Daniel about how wealthy Cal is. She then reads that he especially enjoys investing in media. Betty and Daniel wonder if they would be able to convince Cal to invest in Meade. Betty goes to Matt with the proposal and he says he can't arrange the meeting. He tells her it is not a good idea. Betty tells him she already told Daniel she could, but Matt says no.

Betty asks her family for advice. Justin says rich people are under a lot of pressure and suggests Betty choose Matt over Daniel. Ignacio tells Betty to tell Daniel the truth. Betty goes to Daniel at work and learns he has spent the entire night making their proposal for Matt's dad. Betty watches the promotional video and sees that Daniel is really excited. He tells her it is the first time in months that he feels like they have a chance. Betty tells her that he is going to knock Cal's socks off.

Wilhelmina shows her baby's photos to Marc. He says he can't see her or Bradford in the baby. Wilhelmina tells him what the photographer said and Marc realizes he is right. Marc tells her that it is medically impossible. They talk to a doctor and he explains that it is possible that Christina could have been pregnant before the procedure. Wilhelmina asks Marc what she is going to do if the baby is not Bradford's. She tells Marc to discretely find out if Christina had sex before the procedure.

Betty talks to Christina about her problem. She then sees how affectionate she is with Wilhelmina's baby. Christina tells Betty that Stuart is getting better. Betty then gets a call from Matt and he tells her he is walking into the office right now. Betty panics and tells him not to go to her desk. She tells him to play a game and try to find where she is hiding. Matt walks around while Betty makes sure Daniel is out of the building. Matt finds Betty just as Daniel gets into the elevator. Daniel then appears and thanks Matt for the meeting. Matt tells Daniel that he didn't set it up. They both ask Betty what's going on. Betty asks Daniel to wait for her in the conference room. She then explains to Matt that she didn't get a chance to tell Daniel. He tells her that it is really hard for him to be Cal's son. He says he likes to keep his family separate from his personal life. Betty then goes to Daniel and tells him she didn't want to disappoint him. Daniel tells Betty that he understands Matt's position. He says things don't look good, but he's sure they'll figure something out.
