I thought this was an excellent way to close out this season. I thought that Violet's dilemma with her what will be probably missing baby makes her one of the most tragic characters on television. It is very sad that Violet was on the brink of finding happiness then moments later having that feeling violently taken away. This incident complicates the situation between her, Cooper, Sheldon and Pete. Pete is probably going to blame himself for not checking up on her. I am happy that Private Practice was picked up for another round and I can't wait to see what will happen next season.
