Naomi tells Addison that two of her patients, Emilia and Zoe, had their embryos switched when they were implanted. Naomi calls a staff meeting and tells them what happened. Sam blames Dell for the mistake. Pete suggests they terminate the babies and start over. Naomi says she used Emilia's last embryo. Naomi suggests they call her boyfriend Duncan who is a lawyer. Naomi tells Emilia and Zoe about the mistake. Emilia says that she wants Zoe to deliver her baby. Zoe and her husband say they decided to start all over. Emilia says the embryo inside Zoe was her last and she will keep her baby if she doesn't want to switch later.

Charlotte asks Cooper to meet with her for dinner to spy on William and Naomi while they have dinner. Addison meets with Noah and tells him that they didn't do anything wrong. Noah says they coveted. Noah says he wants to tell his wife the truth. Noah tells Addison he wants to be with her.

Pete meets with Violet and tells her he should have fought for her. He says he wants Violet's baby, body and heart. Pete says he is fighting for her because he loves her. Violet tells Pete she doesn't want him. Violet meets with Cooper and asks him if she has a problem. Katy walks in and asks to see Violet for a session. Katy sees that Violet is pregnant and asks if she can touch it. She asks if the baby is a boy or girl. Later, Violet tells Pete she thinks Katy is off her meds. She says she wants Katy to be committed. Sheldon walks in and tells Violet she can't commit Katy based on a feeling. Sheldon tells Violet that she can't be happy.

Duncan tells Addison, Sam and Naomi they need to fire Dell. Naomi says Dell is like family. Dell walks in the room and asks if he is going to be fired. Addison tells him to go back to his desk.

Morgan meets with Addison and apologizes for attacking her. Noah walks in and Morgan tells him that she insulted Addison after he left. Addison says family is important and nothing should get in the way of that.

Naomi has dinner with William and tells him that she doesn't think she makes a good candidate for the job. Naomi says she made a mistake at her practice. William says he measures people on how they react to situations. At another table in the restaurant, Charlotte becomes upset when she realizes that Cooper stood her up.

Violet goes home and raises her arms in joy. She hears a knock on her door and sees Katy. She tells Violet that she knows that she has her baby and wants it back. Katy injects Violet in the arm with a anesthetic. Inside, Katy tells Violet that she ordered drugs from the internet. She pulls out a bag full of surgical instruments and tells her she is going to take her baby out of her.

Zoe meets with Emilia. Emilia says she wants to keep her baby. Naomi tells them they need to let go of their old dreams so they can embrace another. Zoe tells Emilia that she can't let her keep her child.

Charlotte meets with William and tells him she knows he has been meeting with other doctors. She gives him a list of doctors that she says she can bring into the practice. Charlotte sees Cooper and tells him that she doesn't need his help anymore.

Addison meets with Noah and they start to kiss. Addison says they can't do what they are doing. Noah tells Addison he loves her. They start to make out on the couch. Addison gets a text that says Morgan is in labor.

Katy looks over a text book on how to extract a baby. Katy tells Violet that she stole her baby. Violet tells Katy that she had a girl, but what is inside her is a boy. Violet says the baby might get hurt if she operates. Katy says the baby is calling her. Violet tells Katy to wait. Katy gets angry and breaks Violet's nose.

Zoe meets with Naomi and tells her that she can't let Emilia keep her child. She says she decided to switch babies after they give birth. Sam meets with Dell and tells him he knows he has been hurting. Sam tells him to do what it takes to get his daughter back. Sam gives Dell a check for $10,000.

William tells Charlotte he thinks the doctors that she can bring in won't stay long. He says doctors will only follow a leader with a heart.

Heather brings Betsy to Dell. She asks him for the money. She says she is going to take his daughter away if he doesn't pay up. Dell says he can call the police. He tells her to say goodbye to Betsy. Heather says she is going to get Betsy back, then leaves.

Sheldon tells Pete that Violet is not answering her phone. He says he is expecting to hear an answer about his wedding proposal. Sheldon sees that Pete knows Violet is going to say no. He tells Pete to take care of Violet and her child.

Naomi tells Sam that she took up William's offer and is going to leave the practice. Addison prepares to deliver Morgan's baby. She tells Noah to leave her alone. She goes to Dell and tells him to take over the surgery.

Just before Cooper goes into Violet's house, he gets a call from Charlotte. She says she just was fired and needs him. Cooper leaves to meet Charlotte. Inside, Katy is about to cut into Violet. Violet instructs Katy on how to operate without hurting the baby. She has Katy promise to take care of her baby after she cuts him out. Katy says that she thinks under different circumstances they could have been friends. Katy makes the first cut.
