A dad takes his daughter out rollerblading in Central Park. He falls over a railing and discovers a woman's body. The SVU team arrives at the scene to investigate. Dale tells Elliot and Olivia that the victim had several lacerations. Elliot discovers a weddding ring in the woman's hand. They see that the word 'guilty' is written in blood on the victims forehead. They see that the woman has a pacifier in her hand and figure that she brought a baby to the park. They discover the baby alive in her stroller with the word, 'innocent' written in blood on his forehead.

Olivia and Elliot return the baby to his father. The father says that his wife had a camera while at the park. Olivia and Elliot return to the scene and recover the camera. They look over the photos and see that a group of workers performing community service were present when the victim was at the park. Munch and Fin meet with the manager of the workers. He tells says a man named Peter Harrison went home early after he cut himself. The detectives learn that Peter had a record of menacing.
