This was an interesting case. It is pretty odd that a technicality can allow a person to have murder charges against them dropped. I can understand that for a less serious crime, but murder seems like the kind of charge where there should be a little more leniency in the manner that evidence is obtained. Especially in this case since there wasn't a gross violation to obtain the evidence. Michael and Cyrus should have been more prepared to explain to the judge why the evidence should have been allowed. I think they both screwed up on that one. I thought it was pretty funny, though, that Cyrus wound up saving Michael's life after the two had fought over their legal abilities. Cyrus can always pull out his trump card that he gets to carry a gun when Michael says he makes a bad lawyer. Which reminds me, I thought it was a little odd that he was able to carry a gun into a New York courthouse. I would think security would be a little tighter.
