Charlie Kicked to the Kirby

There are going to be some changes with the cast members of Privileged, the hit series on the CW. Before the first season ends, there will be one hunk exiting and another brought aboard. Keep reading to find out what the new changes will be.

Charlie, played by Michael Cassidy, will be leaving the show when his character goes back to college, according to {tiframe linktext:="TV Guide" width:="850" height:="450" url:="http://www.tvguide.com/News/Privileged-Cassidy-Exits-1001217.aspx"}. Megan's best friend will make his final appearance on the 15th episode. The casting decision was made due to budgetary and creative reasons. For the fans who were hoping Megan and Charlie would turn their friendship into a romance, there's still a chance that could happen. The show's creator, Rina Mimoun, left the possibility open when she told TVGuide.com, "Hopefully he (and we) will return next season."

For those fans who were bored with the idea of a Megan and Charlie romance, it looks like a new hunk will soon enter Megan's life. {tiframe linktext:="TV Guide" width:="850" height:="450" url:="http://www.tvguide.com/News/Robert-Buckley-Privileged-1001239.aspx"} is reporting that Robert Buckley, the actor who plays Nico's former boyfriend Kirby on the NBC drama 'Lipstick Jungle', will be joining the cast of 'Privileged'. Buckley will be playing the the editor-in-chief of the magazine where both Megan and Will hope to work. He will be appearing in the final two episodes of the first season.

'Lipstick Jungle' is scheduled to air it's final episode of the second season on January 9. It has yet to be determined whether or not the series will be picked up for more episodes.

'Privileged' is scheduled to air the remaining six episodes of the first season beginning Tuesday, January 6.
