Haley, Jamie, Peyton, Millie, Brooke and Sam watch Nathan and Owen play in a slam ball game. Haley is slightly horrified to see Nathan take such abuse on the court. Brooke tells Owen he needs to protect Nathan in the game. Jamie fills Sam in on the pertinent information about his mother's friends and the two form a bond.

Millie is concerned about Marvin's new intern/ex-girlfriend Gigi as she watches the two make a documentary about Nathan's road to recovery. Millie goes up and introduces herself to Gigi. She tells Millie that she has nice legs and Millie responds with a whatever. She then gives Marvin a passionate kiss and tells him she'll see him at home. Gigi teases Marvin that his girlfriend has him on a short leash.

Lucas receives a phone call from his manager who tells him that someone wants to buy the movie rights to his first book Ravens. Lucas tells Peyton about the offer and asks if she would be alright with the story being made into a movie. He says he has concerns because it's such a personal story, but she assures him she would be fine with the book being turned into a movie.

The next morning, Jamie wakes Nathan up and makes him prove he didn't get hurt playing slam ball. Nathan gets up and dances and Jamie is relieved. He then sees Haley at the breakfast table and tells her that he's fine. He turns around and Haley sees bruises all over his back.

Haley and Jamie go to Brooke who is working on Peyton's wedding dress. Brooke starts having doubts about selling her clothing line to her mother. She's not sure who technically owns her brand and Haley suggests she start a new brand. Brooke says she doesn't have the inspiration at the moment to move forward. Haley and Millie then change the subject and try to ask Brooke if she noticed how hot Owen looked at the game. Jamie then asks if he can spend the night at Brooke's house. Haley says no, but Brooke insists.

Lucas is sitting on his porch when he is approached by a man named Julian Baker. Julian explains that he is the person interested in buying the movie rights to Ravens. Lucas tells him he's not sure if he wants to sell his story. Julian tells him that he's in town for the night and they should meet later for drinks to discuss the project.

Peyton goes to a welcome back ceremony for a group of Marines to see her half-brother Derek. The two catch up and she tells him she met their father. Derek tells her that he tried to call Mick to get him to do a USO show for the troops, but he never showed. Peyton is sorry to hear about Mick and tells Derek that she still knows some people in Los Angeles and will put together a USO show for him. Peyton and Derek then talk about Lucas and she tells him that she's truly happy to be marrying Lucas.

Marvin approaches Gigi at work and tells her to stop calling him sexy. She apologizes and says she's just having fun with him. She tells him that she's excited to work with him on the Nathan documentary. Gigi flirts with Marvin some more and he tells her that it's good to work with her again.

Lukas goes to Nathan's house to ask him what he thinks about making Ravens into a movie. Nathan hands him a list of actors he wants to play him and says he thinks it's a great idea to make a movie. Lucas changes the subject and tells Nathan that Haley is worried about him playing slam ball. He tells Nathan to make sure Haley knows hes going to be okay. Nate changes the subject back to the movie and asks Luke what Peyton thinks. He says she's fine with the movie. Nathan then asks if he's talked to Brooke since she's the other half of the story.

Jamie and Haley visit Quentin's grave. He asks Haley if Quentin was a good guy. She tells him that she didn't think so at first, but later she realized he was good on the inside and just didn't know how to express it.

Lucas goes to Brooke while she's working on Peyton's dress. She freaks out and tries to cover the dress saying that it's bad luck if he sees it before the wedding. He asks her if she's okay with his story being made into a movie. She gives him her blessing then asks to have Natalie Portman play her in the movie. He reminds her that the movie is based on them in high school and she laments that some snot from the CW will probably end up playing her.

Marvin and Gigi interview Nate. Gigi flirts with Marvin. While she's out of earshot, Nate tells Marvin not to screw things up with Millie by flirting with Gigi. Marvin assures Nathan that he won't do anything stupid. Later, Gigi asks Marvin out for drinks. He turns her down. as she leaves, she texts 'sexy' to him.

Owen asks Nate to help him with Brooke. Nathan agrees and goes to Brooke's house to ask her to give Owen another chance. Brooke tells Nathan to have Owen asks her himself.
