Matt, Mohinder, and Peter make a plan to drug and kidnap Noah. When Noah passes out in the bar of his hotel, Matt, Mohinder and Peter are there to take him away. They bring Noah to a room and watch his reaction to the drugs. Noah sees himself in black and white telling Angela that PrimaTech burned to the ground. Angela hands Noah a severance check and a watch. The two talk about whether or not they should adapt and live normal lives. Angela tells Noah to take care of Claire, then leaves. Matt is able to see the memories and he tells the others that they will be able to use them to fight back.

The hunter tells Nathan that Noah has gone missing. Nathan asks about Claire and the hunter tells him she's fine. The hunter tells the group to search for Noah. The hunter then gets annoyed at Nathan for having a separate set of rules for him and Claire.

Mohinder tells Matt he is hurting Noah. The two argue whether about or not it's even worth it to search Noah's memories. Matt decides he wants to find out how the whole thing began. He sees a memory of Noah's from four weeks ago. Noah was working on a crossword puzzle and Sandra told Noah about a PTA meeting they had to attend. Noah then heard a knock at the door. He opened the door and saw Nathan. Noah told Nathan he didn't know where Claire was and Nathan said she was at the mall. Nathan told Noah he set some things in motion and things were going to change, but Claire would be safe. Noah asked Nathan what he did. Nathan said people with abilities are a threat. Nathan said they have the resources to contain the problem. Nathan said he was an exception and Claire could be too. Nathan said his goal was to eliminate the abilities forever. Noah told Nathan that Claire and the others would never understand. Noah asked what Nathan wanted from him. Nathan said he wanted to know how he threatened the people with abilities. The two then went to Noah's storage locker. Noah showed Nathan his guns and manuals. Noah told Nathan that he joined the company for a reason. Nathan asked if Noah liked his life with his family and Noah said there are only so many crossword puzzles he can do. Matt comes out of the memory and tells Peter that his brother planned it all out. Matt and Mohinder start fighting. Matt then writes down the combination to the lock on Noah's storage room. Peter grabs it and takes off. Peter arrives at the storage unit. He starts going through boxes and finds the guns. A camera in the vent records his actions and sends the feed to the hunter and his team. The hunter smiles as he watches Peter.

The hunter tells Nathan that he found Peter. Nathan asks the hunter how he knows about Noah's storage facility. Nathan tells the hunter that he wants Peter caught with no bloodshed. The hunter orders his troop to detain Peter.

Matt says Peter should have been back by now. Noah says Peter may be dead. Noah says his storage unit was being monitored. Noah tells Matt to let him go. Matt goes back into Noah's memories. He sees Nathan introducing Noah to the hunter. Noah told the hunter about PrimaTech. Noah told the hunter that the people he is targeting are good people, but the hunter said he didn't care. The hunter walked off and Noah got annoyed at Nathan for not letting him run the operation. Matt then sees Noah getting into Mohinder's cab. Noah asked Mohinder for his help. Matt leaves the memory before he hears Mohinder's answer. Matt asks Mohinder why Mohinder didn't tell anyone about his encounter with Noah. Mohinder says he thought it was safer for everyone if he didn't say anything. Matt gets angry that Mohinder kept the truth a secret. The two fight. They then notice that Noah has escaped.
