43 hours after the plane crash, Nathan makes a call saying Claire was on the plane. He says the plane broke apart when it hit the ground and some of the prisoners escaped.

Hiro runs from the guards. He is grabbed by Matt and Mohinder and the three say they need to stick together. Matt walks off and Mohinder stops him. Matt turns around and reveals his white eyes.

Noah points a gun at Peter. Claire begs him to stop. She tells Peter to run and Noah lets him go. Claire tells Noah that he won't get away with what he has done. Noah tells her that no one is going to know a thing. The remains of the plane then explode.

Nathan goes to the scene. He asks the hunter why he authorized an airstike. The hunter reminds Nathan that the targets were terrorists. Nathan says he only wants to capture and detain the targets. Nathan then sees Claire.

Peter runs away. Tracy stops him and Peter tells her to go with her. Tracy says her life was returning to normal. Peter convinces her to go with him.

Hiro, Mohinder and Matt find a trailer home. Matt goes to the door and breaks in. Hiro asks why Matt is breaking in and Mohinder says the trance is compelling him. Matt grabs some paper and a pen and begins to draw. Usutu tells Matt to focus. Meanwhile, Mohinder and Hiro grab clothes off a clothes line.

Daphne finds Ando and tells him that Matt is missing. Ando tells her that Hiro is missing too and he thinks they could have been kidnapped. Ando says he thinks they are in Arkansas based on Hiro's GPSs system. Ando says he was just about to book a plane ticket and Daphne says why fly when you can run. She grabs him and the two speed off.

Hiro and Mohinder change out of their prison garb. Hiro tells Mohinder that he lost his ability and Ando has his power now. Mohinder tells Hiro to turn himself in because they will probably let him go since his powers are gone. Hiro says he is a hero and Mohinder says not anymore. They look at Matt's drawing and see Daphne being shot at the crash site. Matt says he needs to get back to the site. Mohinder tells Matt the guards will kill him.

Mary Campbell picks her son Luke up from detention and scolds him for fighting. He says he was fighting to defend her honor. The two walk in the house and see the television is on. Mary then sees a man in her chair. She grabs a fire poker, then sees that the man is beaten and tied up. Sylar walks out and she tires to hit him with her weapon, but he stops her. He then uses his ability to make her and Luke sit down. Sylar takes the tape off the man and says the man has information he wants. The man asks if he is going to torture him in front of the mom and son. Sylar says he is going to torture them in front of the man.

Daphne and Ando arrive at the crash site. Ando sees Claire. Daphne says since Ando is supposed to be the one who kills Hiro, he must still be alive. She thinks Matt is alive too and takes off, leaving Ando behind.

A guard hunts the heroes. He sees a fellow guard lying on the ground. He goes to investigate and Tracy shakes a branch. Peter then sneaks up behind the guard and takes him down. Tracy and Peter take the guns and phones off of the guards. Tracy tells Peter that she can talk to Nathan and get him to help.

Noah walks off with Claire. She asks why they chained them up like animals. Noah says the people with abilities need to be controlled. Claire reminds him that she has abilities too. Nathan approaches and says Claire should go off to college and forget about the others. Claire tells Noah and Nathan that she doesn't know who they are anymore. Noah talks to Nathan in private. Daphne arrives and sneaks off with Claire. Noah goes off after Claire. He asks Nathan what his hunter would do if he found out he was one of them too.

Matt and Mohinder return to the site. Matt sees the location where he saw Daphne get shot. They see Ando, then Daphne and Claire arrive. Claire tells everyone that they need to get out. Daphne stands up and is shot. The guards then open fire and Claire is shot too. The hunter then turns on his own men and kills them. He walks up to Claire and takes her into custody.
