The FBI's Missing Persons Unit is led by Special Agent Jack Malone, a dedicated worker with a troubled personal life. His past includes having an affair with one of his team members, Agent Samantha Spade, that led to divorce. The unit's second in command is Vivian Johnson, who's level head and compassion for fellow members keeps the team from falling apart. Another Team Member, Agent Danny Taylor, uses his troubled experiences to help solve cases. Every week, the squad is assigned cases where mere seconds is the difference between finding the missing person or losing the person forever.
