The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is charged with the responsibility of law enforcement including conducting forensics, surveillance, and analysis of data within the US Navy. Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs heads the Major Case Response Team, an elite group of investigators. Agent Gibbs is an effective leader and demands the most out of his team, yet he has problems following Navy protocol and orders from above. Agent Anthony DiNozzo is a flirtatious member of the team who's head first attitude hurts and helps him during cases. Agent Tim McGee is the Computer expert who is constantly teased by his co-workers. Goth girl, Abby Sciuto, is the forensic science specialist. Together, the team solves crimes including murders, sniper shootings, uncovering moles in the military, and kidnappings.
