Heroes focuses on characters who develop supernatural abilities. These individuals include Claire Bennet, a Texas high school cheerleader with a rapid healing ability. Hiro is a Japanese office worker with the ability to move freely through space and time. Sylar, the series main villain, has the ability to steal other's abilities after killing them. Studying, watching and influencing these extraordinary individuals are scientists and corporations. Mohinder Suresh continues his late father's work to unravel the biological reasons behind the superhuman powers. While the main characters struggle with the benefits and consequences of their enhanced capabilities, a secret organization named 'The Company' led by Bob Bishop and Angela Petrelli are working control and keep these new powers secret.
