Homicides, robberies, and kidnapping are the crimes committed in the Big Apple. The criminal leaves, but the evidence is left behind in the form of thread, hair and other DNA. There to find the clues is the Crime Scene Investigators. The New York branch is headed by Mac Taylor, a systematic problem solver who is haunted by the death of his wife. Taylor's second in command is Stella Bonasera, a smart detective who is willing to stand up for her team mates. The CSI team uses the combination of state of the art equipment and old fashion crime solving skills to help bring justice.
