Kids Ain't Like Everybody Else
Bree is reunited with Benji and Danielle, Susan confronts MJ's bully, Carlos and Gabby buy a car, and Dave and Tom start a garage band. Read the BeeSight BeeCap to find out what else happened on the third episode of the fifth season of Desperate Housewives.

Benjamin rides in a car with Danielle and her new husband Leo. They arrive at Bree and Orson's house for a three day visit and Benjamin begins to observe the awkwardness between his mom (who he calls Danielle) and his grandmother. While catching up, Bree learns that Benji is vegetarian, home schooled, and planning a Bar Mitzvah in 6 years.
Carlos and Gabby have to sell their car to pay their mortgage. The couple they sell it to haggle them down thousands of dollars, then tell them it's for their nanny. Gabby then goes to Andrew to buy his old beater. Gabby tries to get Andrew to lower the price, but he won't budge. She gives in and buys the car, but it breaks down on the way home. She goes back to him and he tells her she needs to put water in the radiator and avoid hills and direct sun. He won't pay for any repairs and tells her it's her problems now.
MJ comes home from the park and Susan notices he's bloody and his shirt is torn. She asks him who's bullying him, but he would rather talk to his dad. Mike comes over and after talking to MJ, tells Susan he'll be teaching MJ to fight. Jackson suggest he teach him Capoeira, the Brazilian dance infused fighting style. Mike makes fun of Jackson and the two play fight.
Susan looks outside and sees Juanita Solis push MJ down. MJ tells Susan that Juanita is his bully. Mike comes out and says he can't teach MJ to fight a girl, Jackson concurs. Susan goes to Gabby and tells her about Juanita. Gabby says she'll talk to her and she won't tell anyone that MJ is getting beat up by a little girl. Susan corrects her by saying just a girl, not little.
Karen asks Katherine if she's been able to find anything out about Dave. Katherine tells her she doesn't have enough information to narrow her search. She is also a little hesitant since Dave has helped her out with her sprinkler system, but Karen convinces her that no one will find out about their investigation.
Karen and Katherine take Edie out to try to get more information about Dave. Edie doesn't know anything about where he grew up or went to school and after being pushed by Karen, she gets uncomfortable and tells them she doesn't want to talk about it anymore.
Dave sees Tom cleaning out his garage and stops to talk. Dave asks Tom if he wants to come over later and watch the game on his mega TV. Tom says he wishes he could, but Lynette really wants him to finish cleaning. Lynette comes out and sees Tom is still trying to hang on to stuff he'll never use. She tells him to part with it so they can park at least one car in their two car garage. Dave sees Tom's bass guitar and asks if he still plays. Tom says he used to, but not anymore. Dave tells him he plays the drums and asks him to come over later to jam and Tom says yes.
Dave comes over to jam with Tom and Lynette walks in. Tom excitedly tells her that they're going to put together a garage band with Mike on guitar and Orson on keyboards. He tells her that he only need weekends to practice and maybe play a few bars. Lynette reminds Tom that he doesn't have time and he said he wanted to spend more time with the family. Tom starts to cave, but Dave nudges him to not give in.
After enduring hours of poor music, Lynette gets an idea. she lays Tom's guitar on the garage floor by one of their daughter's doll. Tom pulls in and runs over his guitar. He sees the doll and assumes Penny is to blame.
