Olympic Gold Medalist Misty May Treanor is out of the Dancing with The Stars competition. Watch the video and find out why.

ABC reports that Misty tore her Achilles tendon on Monday. The beach volleyball champion will undergo surgery Tuesday and will recover at home. ABC also says that she was planning to take a year off from volleyball. Her DWTS partner, Maksim, was quoted saying, "Misty gave it her all. I'm very proud of her and I couldn't ask for a better partner."
