From Bike Trail to Campaign Trail
At a event held for his private foundation, Cyclist champion and cancer survivor and prevention advocate, Lance Armstrong that a political career may be in the future.
People Magazine has the scoop reporting at an event in Columbus, Ohio. Speaking to a crowd that included Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain, Armstrong shared his thoughts on the limits of the private sector.
'There might come a time when you feel like you've reached a wall and you need to step into public office and try to make change through that channel or those ends'
At the meeting, he stated he is confident both the Democratic and Republican candidates will make efforts towards cancer prevention and care.
The question is: Which party will he join if he makes a run for a political seat, or will he be an independent?
