Bones and Booth go to a bridal shop. The store owner thinks that they are a couple and directs Bones to the clothes rack with dresses in her size. They tell the shop keeper that they are investigating the death of Mariel. She says that Mariel got in a fight with a wedding planner who she later fired. Booth sees Sweets's girlfriend Daisy try on a dress in front of a man. He tells Bones not to let her know that they are there and keep it a secret from Sweets. At the Institute, Bones asks Booth if they should tell Sweets about Daisy. Booth tells her that it is none of their business. Sweets enters that room and they pretend that they are talking about something else. Bones is about to tells Sweets about Daisy, but Booth stops her.

Bones and Booth meet with the wedding planner that was fired. She tells them that Mariel had dress issues and blamed her. She says that she slapped Mariel after Mariel threw sewing needles at her. She tells Bones and Booth that she is a gentle woman, but doesn't have an alibi.

Hodgins tells Wendell and Camille that the maggots found on the body had traces of tequila. He says that it means that Mariel was drunk when she died. He also finds gylcerol, a chemical that is used by the bridal shop to preserve flowers.

The team tries to move the body off the cardboard onto a metal sheet. Wendell compares the process to moving a cheesy pizza off of its box. Bones and Booth have lunch. They talk about Sweets and Daisy. They see Sweets and Daisy enter the restaurant. Booth tries to get Bones to leave. Sweets invites Booth and Bones to go out later for dinner. Daisy says that she is busy later with yoga classes.
