Camille doesn't know what the foam is and tells the team they can't handle it until they identify the substance. The team says they need samples, but Camille says she would rather have them remain alive. Angela walks in and says the man's name was Alex. She says the FBI identified him by his dental records and Alex has his brother listed as his contact.

Booth and Bones visit Alex's brother Chet at his used car dealership. A woman greets the detectives and tries to sell Booth a new car. Bones says they are detectives are there to meet with Chet. They find Chet in his office and see him looking at his prescription bottles. Chet tells Bones he just has an infection. Bones tells Chet's wife to stay because they have bad news about Chet's brother. Bones tries to find a sensitive way to tell Chet his brother was murdered. They ask Chet who would want to kill his brother. Chet says Alex was a used car salesman and there are probably lots of people who wanted to kill him.

Vincent asks Camile if they can remove the body from the isolation chamber. Camile says no and Vincent sees more foam coming out of the bones. Camille and Hodgins run tests and find no signs of toxins. Vincent suggests they remove the body from isolation. Camille agrees, but tells them to proceed with caution. Vincent looks at a bone and sees it is becoming gelatinous. Camille realizes they are losing their evidence and they have to work quickly to solve the murder.

Booth and Bones go to Alex's boss Jungle Jim. He says he fired Alex because his sales were poor. Jim says Alex shoved his monkey and he wouldn't apologize. Booth and Bones then talk to the other salesmen. They say that Alex wanted to bring his brother on the team, but they didn't have room. They then say there was a guy who was mad at Alex for selling him a lemon and he bashed in Alex's car with a golf club.

Booth interrogates the guy who bashed in Alex's car. Sweets tells Bones that Booth is lying to the man in order to get him to open up. The man tells Booth that he had his kid in the backseat and he had to get stitches after an accident. Booth says he would kill someone who injured his kid. The guy is surprised to learn Alex is dead. He says he would never risk having his kid grow up without a father. Bones tells Sweets that she wants to learn how to relate to people like Booth does.

Hodgins tells Camille and Vincent that he found particulates on the victims clothing known as lust dust. He explains that it was strawberry body glitter which is something a stripper might utilize.

Booth and Bones go to the neighborhood strip club. Bones tells Booth that she is going to study his technique of getting people to open up to him. Booth asks the dancer who uses the glitter and a dancer says it is hers. She say her name is Strawberry Lust. Bones gives the dancer $60 and watches as Strawberry Lust dances for Booth. He tells her he is with the FBI and asks about Alex. She says he's a regular. Booth tells her Alex died and Strawberry sits down. She says she gave him some dances on Friday and then Alex got into a fight with an Indian car salesman. Booth realizes Alex's coworker lied to him.

Sweets meets with Bones and shows her facial expressions, He says he will teach her about the expressions and how she should respond to them.
